Unexpected problems and events are a feature of live performances - but we do our best to ensure our equipment doesn't provide any of them.

Our equipment stock is subject to regular maintenance and checks including PAT (portable appliance testing) to maintain it to a good standard. It is also subject to a visual check prior to being dispatched on a job. 

This is not however a 100% guarantee that the gear will be perfect on arrival at a venue and we always recommend that equipment is carefully handled and checked by staff at the venue in case anything has been damaged or come loose in transit. Should you notice anything wrong with the equipment please bring it to our attention as soon as possible.

Second-hand/ Used Sales Stock

From time to time we sell off surplus second hand stock - such equipment is not subject to ongoing maintenance once added to the sales list but will be PAT tested before being cleared for sale. Second hand equipment is sold without guarantee and it is the purchasers responsibility to ensure that it meets their needs prior to concluding a purchase.

Children

Many productions are undertaken involving children. Steve is certified for working with young people and holds an advanced disclosure check (criminal record check) for such. In addition Steve has over twenty years experience of working with young people in association with Dundee City Council.

As part of youth activities it is common to empower participants by offering them a role in the creation of a production - whilst this is welcomed it must be recognised that there are strict limits on what tasks a child can be permitted to undertake - we are happy to advise on a case by case basis.

Mailing Lists / Spam Communications

A contacts list of all past customers is held securely and not released to any other organisation. We hate spam and don't want to inflict it on you so any communications generated from the contacts list will be very specific to you. Should you wish to have your details deleted from that list please contact us and we'll sort it out straight away.

From time to time we work with production and publicity companies on specific productions, again we will not share any of our mailing lists with such companies. should you receive any spam or unwanted emails which include our name please let us know straight away and we will investigate it promptly.

We receive large amounts of spam ourselves - particularly from manufacturing companies - it is our policy not to enter into contracts with companies who send spam. UK based companies are welcome to email us to introduce their services/products but not to include us on any email lists without our express permission.
