Dundee Light Night

A number of projects were undertaken in support of Dundee's Christmas Light Night, including large scale video and animation projections, movie projections at the City Square and art videos in shop windows in Reform Street:

Art Exhibition

With a wide variety of exhibits including sculpture, paintings and interactive displays. A wide array of theatrical lighting and general area lighting was installed in this temporary venue, together with power distribution provided by The Electric Company

Catalyst

LED lighting provided in support of this public art launch - the car in the picture doesn't exist - its a  concrete sculpture which absorbs airborne pollutants

Light Night 

Steve Page was commissioned to provide technical support, design and lighting for eight art installations in association with Light Night 2009 in Dundee. the largest project being the transformation of a graveyard for Light@howff to enable storytellers and guided tours to use the historic site after darkness fell. Other projects included video projection and a large scale video game arena called yinYangYu. 

Mortuus Silva

A progressive and experimental art installation, mixed with theatre was performed at the Botanic Gardens in Dundee in the run up to Halloween. A wide array of lighting plus control desks were provided for operation by DBS Productions

Art projects are a popular part of our work with each hire offering something new and unique. Our hire services are ready to meet the design challenges of your artwork event. Past projects have included a very diverse range of hire solutions from a single light source to multiple projectors and lighting hire of a standard expected in full scale theatre. Unless really pushed for time Our staff will not try to force a single solution on you but take time to work with you to test ideas and concepts before delivery of the finished event.
